Meet Jeff Nance
Thank you for visiting the J&N Home Inspections website. In order to give you a better idea of exactly how things are done by J & N here is a little bit of background about the founder.
Jeff Nance is a residential construction expert. Here is a little bit about the life long journey that has brought him up through the ranks from being a carpenter’s helper to becoming the multi-licensed certified professional that he is today!
As a young man Jeff found himself needing to earn a living to take care of a young family. He had always enjoyed building things and found opportunity as a carpenter’s helper in the want-ads of the Raleigh News and Observer. He answered the ad and got the job. Building came naturally to him and he moved up within the ranks quickly becoming a lead carpenter with his own crew framing townhomes in less than a year.
After a few years of honing his skills he was ready for a new challenge. He was approached about an opportunity to become a building superintendent for an apartment construction company. He took the job and managed the construction of three apartment complexes in Raleigh during his time there. From there he went into the world of single family construction completing over 20 200+ unit projects in Cary, Raleigh, Durham, Wake Forest and Apex.
Jack of All Trades
Jeff is a North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector and a North Carolina licensed Residential General Contractor. He also currently carries NC state standard inspection certificates for the Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical trades. In addition Jeff is a Licensed Drone pilot.
As you can tell from this short summary Jeff has been in the world of residential construction for most of his life.
